Snacks

I'm almost 6 week post of and my nut told me to have 3 meals a day and a snack ....is a quest bar too big for a snack ? Is it more of a meal ? Its 160 cals 17g if fiber and 5g of fat 20g of protein 270mg of sodium .

At this point...you are probably not getting enough protein...so it would be a good idea for you to eat something like that or a protein drink....Later when your eating improves you can move to a 1/4 c of nuts or fruit, cheese or yogurt.....things like that!

At 6 weeks post-op, I was still on an 800 cal/day diet. I would have broken the quest bar into 2 and eaten half in the morning and half in the afternoon rather than the whole thing at once.
