Previous Short Term Goal Met: Loss of 75 lb within three months of surgery. New Goal Short Term Set: Be under 200lb by Christmas morning. This may prove difficult as Thanksgiving and Christmas are both holidays of yummy foods and beverage. I have 25lb (aprx 87,500 kcal) to work off and 59 days which equals 0.43 lb per day or aprx 1,450 kcal per day (through exercise and diet) to loose. When this goal is accomplished I will have lost at least 148lb from my highest weight and at least 101lb from pre-surgical weight. On December 31, 2012 a close friend challenged me to lose 100lb within one year and attend an annual hiking/camping event, which I declined to attend last year due to my lack of physical fitness. With the completion of my last goal and the setting of this new one I am on track to meet his challenge. I realize that fitness is not a function of weight loss alone but for me it is the first step. I even bought a new sleeping bag in preparation for the hiking trip. #movemoreeatless #nothingtastesasgoodasskinnyfeels #lessass #livelife #lessofaman
