How long after submission does it take medicare to respond to the insurance people at the surgeons office?

    Really can't answer for straight Medicare A&B as I elected to have Humana Gold Plus for my coverage through Medicare. My insurance was submitted 8/22/13 and just got the call approval came through and surgery is scheduled for 9/11/13 for 10:00 AM.
