For those of you that the Protein hakes during the pre op diet' date=' did you all still use them post op?[/quote']

Yea. I'm 9 weeks out and while I have drastically reduced the shakes frequency I do still use them. Now that I'm on a regular diet I try to use food intake as much as possible and use shakes if needed.

Mine is July 10. On day 4 of Optifast. Doing ok so far. Did not get to say goodbye to any favourite foods as I got a cancellation and had to start liquid diet as soon as I heard. Probably a good thing :-)

Are you doing pre op diet?

How are you doing Sonia65? Update us when you're feeling up to it! :)

Hello everyone. Surgery was Wednesday and it went well. I felt pretty good and was walking about quite quickly. Wednesday night was challenging since I threw up blood 4 times. They took blood (several times which was difficult as my veins were not cooperating:-() and were able to rule out internal bleeds so it was just old blood that had leaked out during surgery.

Yesterday I felt a bit sore but only took Tylenol for pain and I walked and sipped and slept all day. Today I came home and I am still walking and napping. Ate oatmeal for breakfast and cottage cheese and yoghurt for supper plus a shake. So all in all doing quite well.

Really hope it continues this way and everyone else is doing well.
