Hey everyone, today I finally got everything in order and saw my 3rd surgeon for my last & final consult! (The other two I saw closed practices... ) and I finally got everything submitted to insurance today for my surgery! I'm so excited and cannot wait for the next 7 to 14 days to go by fast! I'm nervous and anxious to get my approval from insurance so I can set up my surgery... now, I started this process last august hopeing I would have had surgery in april. Well that wasn't the case cause I had to switch insurance plans because it was open enrollment this year for me. And now I'm definitely going to be having it next month! Cannot wait its been very stressful trying to get this all done... anyways a little about me...

I'm 5'5 I weigh 312lbs (started this journey at 340lbs) I cannot wait and just wondering if any of yous out there are also waiting for insurance approvals. just needing some friendly people going thro the same with me so I can talk about all the ups and downs. Thanks

I'm waiting for approval also, how long will it take ? Do you know ...

I was told it can take up to 30days but usually only takes between 7 to 14days for approval. I'm excited and can't wait. Was told ill have the surgery around the middle of july long as everything goes well.
