hey everyone!

New here! Ive had the band since 2005. Saw a new doc last week in hopes of getting a revision done. He wants me to have bypass when i was originally considering the sleeve. I have an endoscopy scheduled in april...i vomit quite often and have a dialated pouch. He said bypass is a better option. I have MVP insurance. They do not cover revision surgerys unless something is deemed life threatning. Will be going thru pre-op testing again and then will try to get mvp to cover it. If not luckily my job offers bcbs too but would need to wait til open enrollment. Either way the band will be out this year. Doc says body has to heak for 3-6 months before they would be about to go back in. Currently weighh 260. Gained 30 lbs last year or so . Nice to meet everyone!
