Hi everyone, new to the site and was just wondering how long has it taken anyone to get approved by Cigna. I had Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and had did everything required, seen doc, psych eval, and my 1 nutrition class that was required. It was close to Christmas and couldn't get in by one day and I had to wait until the new year(2013) to use the new insurance. I was real disappointed because Cigna required 3 nutrition classes, ughhh! Now that I have completed that I'm just waiting on approval from Cigna. It was bout a week so I called Cigna they never received anything. Got on the phone with insurance coordinator and she had sent the paper work to Blue Cross. So she sent in the paperwork to Cigna Tuesday, so I'm just waiting for my YES!!!

So you mean they approved you then turned you down, wow, I'm glad they approved it for you.
