Does anyone know if Mercy Care/AHCCCS cover the lap band? ANd anything you might not know about it..THanks ; )

Well I have Mercy Care right now... and I call them Merciless Care for a reason. They don't cover it, but I'm not sure about AHCCCS. I'm actually voluntarily cutting back my full-time job in this recession to be cut from Mercy care to qualify for AHCCCS in the hopes of getting my healthcare taken care of for prices I can afford :-(

First off Mercy Care is AHCCCS, and I am so happy that while I work hard and pay my taxes, you are voluntarily making less money to get on welfare. THATS AWESOME!!!!!

You have got to be kidding me. :drool: You just admitted you are cutting yourself back at work so you can get ahcccs when mercy care is a part of ahcccs while the rest of us bust our butts at our jobs... no wonder you can't get the help you need... you are looking under the wrong category... might want to try psychiatric evaluations first.:thumbup:

You have got to be kidding me!!! I would love to be working and getting the money i need to pay my bills! I dont like being on government assistance!!! You are lucky enough to have a full time job and you want to voluntarily cut your hours so you can struggle more just to get health care!!!!!! You are doing it for the wrong reasons!!!! Being on government assistance is not something that you strive for!!!!!! It is something that you work to get off of!! So for you to say something like that it makes you sound like you have your head up your a**!!!!!!!!
