Just turned 35 last week and have my date of June 5th!!! Best present in the world!!! I am a single mother of a beautiful 11 yr old!! Want to do this for her mostly but for me too, don't want to be "the fat mom"!!! I am 5'7.5" 309 lbs. at last app. Just started the low carb diet, Dr. did not required for me to do any diet before the surgery but I don't want any complications so doing everything I can for myself. I am unusually very calm not too nervous about the surgery!! I'm sure the weekend before I will be, I hope!!

Best wishes for you. I think we say..... I will talk about me. I want to have more energy for my kids but I'm not having surgery for them. I'm doing it only for me. I want to look good. I personally never cared what others say if they call me fat if my teenagers friend say I'm fat. I honestly don't care. Kids grow up & move out. I have to live this way fat or do something about it so I decided to do something about it only for me.

Well I am doing it for myself too! My dad passed sept '10 of a heart attack at the age of 57! That was the start of my journey, I had lost 80 lbs prior to his passing but gained it back afterward almost immediately! Want to take care of myself for me and my family!!!

That's really good. You feel this way. I'm sorry you lost your father. That's a young age to go.

I am home and very sore, a rash and slight temp, but other than I feel great!!!!
