I'm still pre op but was wondering the same thing. Fruits and veggies would be easy to figure out but I cannot even imagine eating puréed meat. I loathe the texture of pate' and so unless I could blend soft veggies with the meat I think I will pass. Think I will just stick with liquid protein. Oh actually maybe a creamy soup like butternut squash blended with chicken? Can we eat that of is it too starchy?

I need some advice for this stage as well. I've heard that grits, oatmeal, scrambled eggs and pureed tuna/chicken were ok.

My nut says anything you are willing to put in a blender. Anything. I am just wondering what people have tried and liked.

Thanks drydzynski

I'm with you Italiancurves. Purred meat sounds totally disgusting to me. I'll probably skip that as well. But who knows after all the liquids it may be delish…nah.

Yeah, I am looking for ideas also. Today is my first day of puree. I just had one egg, scrambled, light cheese, a tsp of ketchup and some pepper. I ate about 3/4 and felt completely satisfied. :) Excited for tuna!

I do not have to purée, just soft foods tuna, crab, chicken salad and chew very well. I am glad, the purée stage does not sound appealing.
