How do you put the ticker thing on your posts? I tried doing it and I had no idea where to paste the ticker info! I'm dumb =

The ticker comes from another site, tickerfactory.com. People just use code to display them here. Go there and you'll see directions, etc.

but what i don't get is the part where you have to cut and paste it so that it's always on the bottom of every post you make. where do you cut and paste it? you can't always be doing it.

You add it to your signature. User CP > Edit Signature, add code.

Go to tickerfactory.com and pick out what you want and when it comes to the page to cut and paste always go to the first one and ONLY copy from the word img to img and then paste it on the usercp page at the bottom and viola, it will work, I promise.
