Hush-Puppies are from the Devil...

OK, was having a Great day at the Mall of America with the kids….Took them to the 3rd floor for Lunch. I needed something to eat too. I knew I should have just drank a low fat chocolate milk, but had a HUGE craving for Hush-Puppies from Long John Silvers, and I gave in. I am almost 7 months post op, I should be good. I ordered 6, ate 2.. JUST 2, ONLY 2 and was SO sick, stomach cramping, palms sweating, and then had to RUN to the bathroom….Needless to say I WILL not be eating Hush-Puppies for a LONG time.. What foods do this to you, so I can have some idea of what to stay away from???

I think everyone's different but my downfall is potato chips. Sometimes I just need something salty and crunchy and only potato chips will do. Well I learned the hard way I can have 2, maybe 3 if they're small. You know those teeny bags you get from the vending machine? Yeah, that will last me two weeks. I am 4 months post-op.
