Suits after WLS

Fellas,

I'm 6 weeks pre-op still and had a terrible thought: I bought a really nice suit when I visited NYC earlier this year (before deciding to be sleeved - I'm in Australia), and I'm fearing I may not get much use out of it now!

The jacket is a 50, and the pants 46.

Question: anyone had any experience with a tailor taking a suit in A LOT? Is it doable?

Cheers,

Brendan

Probably not. I was a 50 and am teetering around a 42 now. Not going to happen. Can anyone say "eBay"??

I think the general rule of thumb is that you can take in two inches.* So, that may help a little bit. I found that I melted through sizes post-op, though. When I put on my pre-op suit today, I look like David Byrne in that old Talking Heads video.

You're welcome.
