Life After Weightloss-Bootcamp!

There are so many emotional scars left over in a person once they have lost weight...Although they are no longer the fat person they were they are still the same person and still FEEL like the fat person...

Many years ago (in my teen years) I was a little overweight and actively lost about 40lb...I was walking heaps and feeling fantastic. But all went topsy turvy when a friend of the family (an older boy) started taking an interest and mentioned to my brother that I was looking really great! and beautiful. You know I was scared and felt so vulnerable I had hidden behind my weight for so long that I felt naked...everyone was seeing me...I couldn't hide anymore. I stopped walking started eating and became bigger than ever and have NEVER been back to that weight ever since...

There must be others with post weightloss emotional scars, and insecurities and I thought this thread could be a chance for us to discuss so that somehow we can all gain healing from the negative leftovers/baggage of the person that we were in order to live fulfilled lives as the person we are NOW.
