Lunch

Lemon ginger chicken with teriyaki sauce and black beans... Pretty good. About 200 calories and 23g protein.

I'm still on full liquids and that looks so good right now! I hope it was as tasty as it looks!

It was. I'm slowly introducing new foods. 5 weeks out and finally brave enough to eat moist chicken. Waiting to introduce more carbs. But man rice would have been perfect. :-)

I tried a small amount of spaghetti tonight and it is really sitting heavy. I cut it up and chewed it well but may wait before I try it again. My surgery was 12/26 and I seem to tolerate most foods at this point.

That's what I worry about with rice.... I love rice but I worry it won't love me back...
