Congrats! How long did it take for your approval? My packet was received today by Aetna and I am scheduled for March 5. Praying...

Congrats to you. It is good to hear someone had a good experience with Aetna. I fought with them for 18 months and was denied twice ( i was too healthy with a bmi of 48, but no comorbities). before finally getting approved and sleeved on 2/19. Finally hired a healthcare advocate who threatened to go to the media and to sue them.

Thank you!! It took two weeks and got my letter yesterday 2/26. I was so happy!! :-D Great! I wish you the best, and a speedy recovery. Please keep me posted. I'll post my surgery once I see my surgeon.

Thanks!! Wow! That's was sucks! But good thing you fought it and got sleeved. Congrats! How are you feeling so far?

Doing much better. The surgery pain is non-existent, but still dealing with gas. I have not weighed myself yet. I am waiting to my two week follow up. I still have swelling and don't want to get discouraged. My brother-in- law is 7 weeks out and 50 pounds lighter. I hope I can have similar results.

That's good to know. I'm so ready for the pain...I'm a good Pain tolerance, had 3 c-sections, so I know what I'll be expecting. I'll be fine. Wow! 50 pounds! Awesome! You will. Hope to see pictures. I'll be posting soon. ;-) Well, take care.

You will be fine. I also have a high tolerance to pain, I have had a knee replacement, and spinal surgery. I wish you the best on your surgery in April.
