Started my pre-op diet

My surgery is scheduled for February 25th. I have my Preop appointment this coming Thursday and I am close to the 10 lb weight loss required prior to this pre-op appointment....so I started my liquid diet 2 days early. I know I will be where I need to be for this appointment....but this liquid diet is going to be hard. I am drinking the Atkins advantage shakes. I can have 4 per day....that means as of right now I have 62 left to drink before my surgery....I don't know if I should laugh or cry : ). I am excited about the upcoming changes in my life and look forward to what is to come. I am also nervous about my ability to stick with it. How did you deal with feeding the rest of your family while on the liquid diet? I made breakfast for everyone this morning but I have a feeling that is going to get very hard to do over the next few days.
