Well I was sleeved on July 9th. I would like to know from you veterans how long it takes for the large incision to heal? Ya know the one that they pull your stomach out of.

My problem is that I can't bend over without pain and I can't lay down flat either. Feels like the stitches were put in to tight. There is the ridge under my skin, I showed the people at my drs office they said it was ok

I felt pain behind that incision for about a month...bending down could often cause pain, but I could lay down flat without issue. I'd give it another week. Good luck!

All I can tell you is it gets better, brother. A LOT better. Just hang in there. Time will heal you and the amount differs with each person.
