Something Funny!

When I lost weight in 2003 and moved back home from Miami to DC I lived with my friend Rebecca. Apparently she thought I was hilarious and made a book of quotes over the years and I filled a lot of her book. Well I try to keep in touch with her so yesterday she told me that I was the first quote in her book... " the only way to lose weight is to eat nothing all day for about six months" funny that is basically what we all do.

I love it!! I have a good friend who lost about 100 pounds 10 years ago. At the time I was disgusted by the fact that she was totally obsessed with every bite of food that went in her mouth. I swore I'd NEVER do that, even if it meant I stayed fat.

We were talking today and she pointed out to me that I am obsessed with every bite of food that goes in MY mouth now. I guess karma does kick our butts. :)

It's true!! The difference though is that with our sleeves we don't feel like we are killing ourselves!
