5K

I I've decided I want to run a 5k before my surgery which will probably be in a few months. I am very excited for surgery and I want to prove to myself that I can run a 5k. I just finished my 2nd day first week of training. It is such an empowering feeling when your running knowing that your in control of your body and how far you can push yourself. Is there anyone else doing the c25k?

I am currently trying the C25k,so far so good, I ran my 5 K today in 32 minutes. The program is pretty cool. I bought a fitbit, which is a little gadget that counts steps, floor climbs and calories etc and that keeps me motivated to keep going :) Good luck when you start!!

Congrats! I just purchased some running shoes because I was using my shape ups but they were killing my shins. I want to get the chip to put in the shoe to sink it with my iPhone. Do you have an iPhone? Have you heard anything about the Nike + sensor? I hope to run a 5k by may. Have you ran in a 5k race yet? I'm so excited to run one but nervous at the same time. Do you had your sleeve yet? If yes when did you get it? Thanks for replying.
