Humana

I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!!!!!!! The insurance coordinator at the MD office sent me an e-mail yesterday and said that Humana State (for KY) is now paying for sleeve for patients with BMI >35 with 2 co-morbidities. They previously were only paying for 50+ BMI. I'm so excited to think that I'm going to be saving all that $. They were going to submit my 6 months of MD visits this AM. They said I should know something in about 72 hours! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey girl,

I live in Lexington, Kentucky and I have Humana PPO, is this what you have? I was wondering if they would cover the sleeve. I have a BMI of 47 but I dont have any co-morbidities, I havnet been tested for sleep apnea yet though. Do you have to have co-morbidities?

That is awesome! I would be bursting with giddiness. Congrats on the great news, I hope you hear something soon.
