Hey all! I am 6 days out from surgery. Thought I knew all I needed to about getting sleeved and the effects after surgery, boy was I wrong Nothing bad just MAN! Glad to have found this site and especially this board. It's nice to get help from/talk with people but awesome to find other guys who have had the surgery.

Goo luck and Congrats on your upcoming surgery! How exciting. There are some awesome guys on this site, check around , you will find them.

Welcome. I too found this site less than 2 weeks before surgery and all of the posts/memebers were very helpful, friendly and informative. Now I was not calling my surgeons office four times a day with "little" pop up questions. Do not lurk - search through the many venues here. There is a great thread for what you will need right after surgery. http://www.verticals...surgery-thread/ I was much happier after using heating pad and drinking slighly warm liquids rather than cold liquids. G2 gatorade helped me stay hydrated when liquid was an issue. Never needed to use any pain meds...and I was an outpatient for this surgery.

Thank you!!! I need to clarify (was not entirely awake), I am 6 days post-surgery today. 1 week tomorrow. I WISH I had known about this site before surgery though, would have helped a lot!!!
