UHC 6mon diet question!

Hey all, I'm new to the board! I just have a question about whether any of you who had to do the 6 month supervised diet were able to do Weight Watchers online along with going in for visits with their physician? I'm worried that my insurance will think that the online version isn't enough, but I plan on going to my doctor every month and being weighed by him as well as documenting everything. I tried getting in touch with my case manager, but she was unavailable. I suppose I am just wondering because I'm so ready to get started on this journey that I want to know which one to sign up for, so that I can do it today hahaha! Thanks! - Mia

Get it in writing as to what plans they will accept. I have seen to many people find out that that the insurance people tend to blur the facts on what they will cover.

I just went for my consultation today and also have a 6 month weigh in .. The only thing they told me was not to gain no more weight and not to lose to much but to work on better choices of food. I have 5 more months so I'm hoping I can stay where I'm at .and work on these things .

Most of the time, the weight loss has to be medically supervised. Many insurances won't count ww.
