I have been really thinking about getting this procedure done. I would like to know if anyone can assist with this. Does medicaid pay for the procedure and what are the qualifications for this procedure. I do have health conditions which includes asthma and sleep trouble would these be considered health reasons for the procedure . I am 34 years old 5'3 with the weight of 309 am I possibly considered for this?

Unfortunately it varies greatly not only state to state, but also on your state uses to issue the coverage. Your best bet would be to ask your case worker where to find out.

It differs from state to state. I lived in N. Carolina where medicaid did not pay. Moved here to texas and this month will be my last mnth of supervised diet. They require that before approval. You sound like a canidate tho. Definately worth checkin out. What state do u live in?
