Dilation?

I have a question.......I had a dilated stomach/band (??) a while ago, so I was totally emptied. i never went back to get it filled again and gained some of the weight back (off topic)....Now, with an empty band, when I eat, sometimes the good gets stuck and causes horrific pain in my breast bone, around to the back and upper right abdomen. Feels like gall stones, but my gall bladder was taken out 17 years ago. I'm scheduled for an upper GI tomorrow morning, but I'm just wondering if anyone has had this issue and if it's possible that there is dilation again. Thanks in advance.

Andrea :)
