Medicare Anyone?

I was wondering if anyone else here has Medicare and any suggestions on how we can make sure they pay for it and not give us a hard time?

I have Medicare and had no trouble at all with them paying "their share". I can't really give you any suggestions on how to make sure they pay because I was VERY LUCKY and had a company called "T.W.I.G.S" (the weight is gone support) do ALL the work for me. I did nothing but the pre-op tests and have the surgery. I was one of the very very lucky ones. Maybe someone else can give you some help. Sorry :) I was no help.

Good luck!!!

I don't know where the surgery can be done but I just got a notice from Medicare that lapband surgery is cleared for

Patients above 35 BMI and one comorbidity....Yeah!:clap2:

There was a report about this on our news last night. It's nice that the government is doing this and the neat thing is that the insurance companies usually follow suit and allow for coverages that Medicare allows.
