Help in Upstate NY

Question: I found a Dr. in Albany - where I'm from but I also found another doctor in LI which would be 4 hours away but had done thousands more and is highly recommened????

Is it better to be closer even though I haven't met as many people with experiences with the Albany dr?

I mean - you want someone good but is it to far a distance for the after care? I'm not worried about the drive....

Anyone used a doctor in the ALbany area?
