New kid on the block

Hello everyone. I'm new here and I'm very excited because I've decided that I'm going to get the Lap-Band asap. I'm in the Bronx and I kinda don't know what exactly I should do first. I'm going to the seminar in June with my mother.....o yea i left that out lol I'm 21 233lbs 39 bmi......I'm looking to go with Dr. Vemulapalli from Montifere. I want to know if there are any questions I should ask when I go to my first appointment? If anybody has HIP is it hard to get approval from them? I'm sooooo excited because I've been fat all my life and I'm tired and done with yo-yo diets. Thanks in advanced.
