Well I have finally gotten to the point for sending papers in for approval to BCBS Highmark today!!!! After 7 months I am excited and stressed over waiting for approval. Here is my big frustration and I don't know what to do. The nurse asks me today If I have decided which procedure I have to do, now mind you this is the 4th time they have asked me that and I am still telling them lapband. She says to me that DR Rashid is not really doing too many of those procedures anymore because it doesn't work......What now.......

I told her to put papers in for lapband.........I think I will prove them wrong.....

Should I be concerned with his lack of confidence in the procedure.

Honestly, I would be! I just wouldn't feel like I am getting the most committed and best care if they are doing a procedure they have no faith in. Only my opinion, I'd be interested in others thoughts on this.....
