BIDMC and Harvard Pilgrim

Hi Everyone:

I am waiting for approval from my insurance carrier, Harvard Pilgrim. I started the process in April and have a surgery date of August 2nd.

Can you tell me how long this might take to get approval? I was told by the admin 24 hours. I am very anxious because I have not done much. I have had all my appointments and met with the surgeon on Thursday.

Thank you for any help.
