  1. I was banded in Mexico almost five years ago. I got my fills in Dallas but the band slipped two years ago. Though I have kept the 60 pounds off thus far and the slipped band has not bothered me, the port is now causing bruising in my side and hurts most of the time. I still have no insurance and very little money (two years left of college before employment and insurance). I can't afford to go back to Mexico. If I try to buy an insurance policy, will it be considered pre-existing? Any advice would be appreciated.
