  1. I received my lap band in Oct. 2003 and things have been going fine until about the last 6 months. I have recently had 2cc removed from my band; because I was having difficulty with keeping much down and coughing at night. Now, whenever I eat just about anything, I feel sick to my stomach and PB. The only thing that works well and goes through without any problems are milkshakes and I know that is bad. I fear I am beginning to think PBing is normal for me. Help! Update: I went to the doctor and I had several cc's removed from the band. I am now doing much better.
