I had surgery aug 24 2010 lost 18 lbs 1st week and gained 5 2nd week, i was eating mush but it was more carbs than should have (carbs turn to sugar in your body) i have not weighed since i figure i am hanging between 23 and 30 lbs lost and was getting very worried, than started reading here and my mind has been put at ease now i know why i am still hungry all the time and can eat like i do not have a band at all now....which sucks.........so am looking forward to my first fill and hope to get restriction, i have not had any of the complications ppl have said, and from this forum have found out alot. 4. the sleeve is not so new anymore and does not have the complications that go with gastric by pass and is little more evasive than banding....... I went to Mexico, cheaper especially for those whose insurance won't approve it hpe that helps
  5. also know to stay between 800 and 1000 calories a day, if you have a really good work out than 1200 should be okay....that will help as well, be very mindful of everything you put in your mouth (remember carbs turn to sugar in your body, so limit them) stick with it!!!
  6. names and phone numbers and city and state and if you know what they charge that would be welcomed too I have called all surrounding cities from where i live, which is Henderson, Tennessee, 30 min from jackson, Tennessee, 30 min from Corinth, MS, hour and half from Memphis, Tenneessee and 2 hours from Nashville....I am trying to find a fill provider number 1. that will accept patient that had lap band in Mexico, number 2. that does not charge an arm and a leg for first time, number 3. that does flouro, and number 4. would like not to hve to travel no more than 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
