  1. So...the big day is tomorrow. I'm sitting here eating my SF cherry jello and trying not to think about a cheeseburger. I am excited and nervous. I was reading some old posts on this forum and if HOPEE is still reading and posting; GIRL, I have the exact same feelings. I'm self-pay and so worried that I'm going to screw this up. It would be different if insurance covered it. I would still be upset but not broke and upset! Is anyone else here self-pay? Does anyone have similar concerns about long term motivation? I'm scared that the resolve or, lack there of, that I've had with every other diet will happen with the band. Hospital check in at 6:30 a.m.!

  3. Most definitely. We are the same age and being banded on the same day. I'd say that we should become friends. :hi:
  4. Hey all! I'm scheduled for Nov. 5th and I'm a little nervous. I know the procedure is safe and I have nothing to worry about but I'm nervous. I'm on day 2 of liquids and I'm starving!! I miss chewing and can't stop thinking about all the foods that I would love to have one more time. I guess that's what goes along with an addiction. I'm really excited to start my journey.
