  1. Ah yes, a science fiend like myself! Hee, hee!
  2. Well...here we go again! I leave you lovely folks all alone for a day or two and all heck breaks loose! Wow--it's so hard to keep up with all of you! First of all, I have on occasion agreed with WABB too (so sue me!). So even if I'm WAY over here in the coastal region of Virginia, I guess I must be another one of Wasa's identities. Wasa--I hope you welcome your newest personality (ME! :biggrin1:) with open arms! I'm a little goofy, but I think I'll grow on you eventually...kind of like a nice fungus! :guess IMO there aren't any "conspiracy theories" here...seems that a simple analysis of the series of posts on this thread reveals all. I'm starting to think that I might soon qualify for a degree in psychology just by studying human nature on-line! I wonder if I can turn this into a research project somehow for college credit?
  3. I just had another funny thought! What man in his right mind would admit to having an erection for more than 4 hours? I'd like to be a fly on the wall in the emergency room when that fellow comes in for help...
  4. There is such a thing as "too much of a good thing" if you know what I mean! I'm on the short side...
  5. At the last school I taught at, all of the kids had to tuck in their shirts, which didn't work out real well for those who were on the "chubby" side--kind of embarrassing for them!
  6. I just force my luscious lips to form the words "Thank you!"
  7. Claud--what a nice story! Thanks for sharing with us! I was very happy to hear your father is doing better, too! bk--I'm so excited for you! I don't think you could have received a better present during this holiday season!! :clap2: What a fantastic compliment you got, too! You are just on a roll, girl! Woo hoo! b-man--The new fellow sounds positively yummilicious!! I hope you get to have coffee with him very soon! Good luck! StephC--Your "wrestle with the printer" tale of woe made me giggle! By the time you have it all figured out, you'll need to buy a new printer! Well everyone--try not to wear yourselves out too much! As for me, I was a total dingbat and dragged work home with me this weekend because I'm so far behind. Blah! I gotta go write a few more Christmas cards now...so much to do, so little time!
  8. Well, I sure hope you're happy, Wasa! I just spit my water all over the place!!! :spit:
  9. Congratulations! I really proud of you Donna! :whoo:
  10. My doc performs both procedures. He thought I was properly motivated and that I would be successful with the band.
  11. Congratulations on your new-found obesity! :whoo: If only I were 6 inches or so taller...I'd be there too!!! Ha, ha!
  12. EEEWWWW!!! Thanks a lot for the oh-so-lovely mental image. Aw heck--who needs a MENTAL image when I can just look down! :faint:
  13. Thanks a bunch lindata! NOW I WANT SANTA'S COOKIES!!!!! What can I say? It's been a llllooonnnggg day!! :hurt
  14. What the heck is a new Maxi-Man Penis Patch? I was a sheltered child, you know!
  15. I want to have floating boobies, too! I gotta get me a jacuzzi! That would cost THOUSANDS less than plastic surgery--he, he!! :heh:
  16. Oh no! I think I just posted just to post! An evil force has apparently overtaken me... :hurt
  17. Tonight, I want to paddle EVERYBODY! Does that make me a bad person or just really kinky? :omg: It would seem that I need to go off and find some more medication...hmmm!
  18. Hee, hee! I hate to break it to those of you who don't think there's prayer in public schools! There's TONS of praying goin' on all over the place! The principal is praying hard that she'll make it to another Friday. :amen: The teacher is praying that she won't get fired when students flunk the state assessment. :help: The music teacher is praying the community won't have a fit over the school's "Songs of the Winter Season Non-Denominational, Non-Religious Student Performance that is Not at All to Be Confused with Anything Remotely Christmas Related—Heaven Forbid!" :faint: The kid is praying that he'll pass his spelling test. The class nerd is praying he won't get stuffed into a trash can. :nerd: The captain of the cheerleading squad is praying she won't get a huge zit on the end of her nose before her big date with the captain of the football team. :cheer2: The class rock star is praying he lands an awesome gig on Saturday night. The school counselor is praying that the depressed student she's been working closely with hasn't decided to gun down his/her classmates. The school nurse is praying that no one contracts MRSA. :sick The girl who just had sex with her boyfriend last night is praying she isn’t pregnant. :preggers: The assistant principal is praying that there won't be a mountain of behavior referrals in his "in" box today. :purplebananna: Sorry to inject such brazen levity into this otherwise serious thread...I've had to do work I brought home all day today, so I have effectively lost my mind by now!
  19. What I love most about America is that we have freedom! During this holiday season, I'm grateful that Luluc has the right to participate in any forum found on this Lap Band Talk website. I agree that it's time to give it a rest. Try some friendly conversation--you'll see that there are a ton of fabulous people on here who are quite easy to get along with! Regardless of whatever someone believes, it doesn’t mean they have to crash this thread just to be nasty to everyone. The purpose of this thread was not to debate Christianity or Atheism or Judaism, etc. If it was, it would be in the Rants and Raves section. Crazycat just wanted to talk about the true meaning of Christmas with others and to perhaps share stories with others who have holiday traditions.
  20. Ditto for me! :clap2:
  21. In general, if people don't agree with the views included in this movie, they shouldn't go see it, not hold protests and get all crazed about it. As for me, I never happened to read the book (not for any religious reason). I'm just not interested in the story so I probably won't see it. I wouldn't stop my son from seeing it if he wanted to go. That particular film doesn't appeal to him at all either. He's more of a "Bourne Identity" or "Need for Speed" kind of kid.
  22. My school district has jurisdiction over any incident that happens at school bus stops, on school buses, during field trips, or on school grounds before or after school hours such as sports events or other extra-curricular activities. Criminal incidents that happen off school grounds can also have school consequences (i.e. expulsion).
  23. Exactly! My siblings and I haven't exchanged gifts for decades--to be honest, there are way too many of us in all when you add up the children, their spouses, and their kids! Once in a while, we do a "Yankee swap" where everyone brings one gift and we draw tickets. That's a lot of fun. I usually bring some bizarre item that everyone wants to get! Usually when we get together though, it's all about visiting and not at all about gifts. I'm hoping it'll be nice and snowy when we go to visit this year!
  24. Oh, you ARE a naughty boy, aren't you??
  25. Time/date stamps can be such a b***h, huh?
