the only people that know about my band are my parents and brother. it just seemed easier than trying to explain to everyone, and having friends feel like they made me feel too fat or something. (even though i promised my psychologist at the pre-op appointment that i would tell everyone, oops) but when people ask what im doing to lose weight, i just say diet and exercise.. its not a lie!

pudding, yogurt, cottage cheese that's pretty much all i ate

It was about 4 days for me (but id have to half lay on a pillow on my side too, weird) then about a week.5 out i could lay on my stomach.

i used to be super hooked on WoW and 360 games a few years ago, and I'd just sit here and eat cookies alllll day (well not really, but pretty much.) but since I got banded I was looking for something to occupy my time so I wouldn't eat when i got bored, so here I am, back on WoW (NOT munching on anything and less hours hehe ^^) and also waiting for SWTOR :thumbup:

i just got my lap-band® a week ago, and am still on a liquid diet.. and have been for the 10 days before that, and i don't know if anyone else ever feels like this but lately i've just started getting really upset and crying (maybe its just pms :/ ) feeling like i'll never get to eat anything again, and feeling like i'm completely left out of my life, since i can't eat anything i haven't been able to go out with my friends or family to eat. i guess i was just wondering if anyone else ever felt like this? and what you did to feel better? :thumbup:

hi :thumbup: i was banded on the 23rd of august, and i'm still in the beginning stages of my journey.. im excited, nervous, and to be completely honest a little scared of the change. i'm really excited to get to know people here who have gone through/are going through what i am!
