I am pre-Op. Unfortunately although I have extremely great Medical / Dental / Vision insurance ... it doesn't cover bariatric surgery. But I don't want to wait getting on with the rest of my life.   UPDATE 9/8/2010: WELL I DID IT !!!! And I am feeling great 9 hours later too. I feel almost back to normal. My story / surgery might not be the same as yours. BUT I FEEL GREAT ! RENEWED !!!  I have had a lot of trepidation the last few weeks as I did it the Fast Track way. My insurance didn't cover it so I self paid and when you self pay - it all went down in LESS then a month. I felt rushed and I felt I wasn't getting the full Lap Band experience that others get with insurance and less popular surgeons .... BUT I got an extraordinary surgeon instead who did it quick, relatively painless and minimal scarring and incisions. I have THREE incisions... three small ones. Dr. Feiz is EXTRAORDINARY !!!! Thank Dr. Feiz and Dr. Mark Lussier of Valencia Town Center Surgery has been phenomenal in his support. I can't praise both of them enough. THANK YOU DOCTORS !!!!!
