  1. I was banded on April 11th, 2012. I have cheated, I was so hungry and ate some broccoli. I had so much pain but my doctor told me to walk. I felt better after walking for 20 minutes. This morning, I had some eggs, a slice of wheat bread and two slices of watermelon. About 30 minutes later, I started feeling a sharp pain on my left side. I went to the bathroom thinking that I would feel better, boy... the pain got so bad that I could not walk, breathe and talk. When I called the dr. he asked me to meet him immediately at the clinic to remove the fill. He told me that the bread did that. When he removed the fill, I felt better in 5 minutes and was able to walk and speak normal again. He will put the fill back again in one week. He told me to go back on the liquid diet for the next three weeks. I learned my lesson. I've never had so much pain in my life. I really thought that I was dying. So please stay away from bread, broccoli and anything too hard or too heavy to eat.
