Hi My name is Megan. I was a chubby child. I remember being 112lbs in 3rd grade, 198lbs in 5th grade, 211 in 7th grade, 280lbs my senior year of high school, 340 when I met my husband at 19, and 320 by the time I was married at 22. Due to chronic back pain from my obesity, my weight ballooned up to 379 (highest recorded weight) I am now around 359 and actively using myfitnesspal.com to journal my food and lose weight before surgery.I have tried numerous diet attempts over the years. The most I ever lost was 20lbs at a time, and I would put that back on and then some. I have my first meeting with the dietitian on 9/17/10. My insurance requires 3 nutrition consults and a psych eval before the consultation with the surgeon.
