I have gained 20 pounds so far. I am almost 24 weeks so I guess that is good. I hope! Alicia521- You can get a fill as soon as you have the baby? Wow, i am jealous! My doc is making me wake until my 6 weeks check up. I could lose alot in those 6 weeks! Oh well, maybe I will anyway!!!!!

Hey all! I am 23 weeks now. She is kicking up a storm. Raynie- i planned on getting a fill at 6 weeks. That is when they told me I could get filled back up. With my fill and breastfeeding I am hoping it will roll off me! We are also joining the YMCA this month so that will help too. MY 1 year lapband anniversay is coming up Dec 20th. It is hard b/c thought I would be like 180 by now but instead I am 255 and pregannt. Don't get me wrong, you all know I am estastic about the baby but it will be nice to lose again and feel fabulous. Feeling fabulous is what got me pregant in the first place!!!! HAHA!

Check out our thread pregnant and banded come join me I am 6 months pregnant. Banded last Dec. Everything is going well. I had a unfill to 2.2 cc's during my first trimester due to morning sickness but now everything is ok. Expecting my second daughter in march. Once the baby is 6 weeks old, I will get filled back on and continue on my weightloss journey! Good luck to you!

Hey everyone. Just checking in. I am so tired. With everyone on the not sleeping well. AS soon as I get to sleep, I wake up b/c my hands are asleep or Ihave to pee! She is causing me to pee alot at night. I am 22 weeks now. Seems to be flying by. Raynie- I cannot feel her on the outside yet b/c my placenta is in the front of my uterius this time so it will be longer until hubby can feel her. But with with my first I could feel her my now. it won't me long for you can feel your baby move onthe outside!!!!!!!!

raynie! You so felt the baby. With both of my pregnancies I felt the baby early on in the 11th week. It is the baby! YEY! I am 22 weeks now and feel great. lindz- I was 233 when i got pregnant and it only took one shot!!!!!!

raynie- had a similar experience today at the mall. There I was in maternity pants and shirt looking 8 months pregnant and I met a lady at this childrens store that is due days before me!!!! She was wearing a tight shirt and regular jeans! YUCK! i was all like " is this your first?" She was like "YEAH!" Lucky girl!

Raynie- Yes! I am going to find out the sex. i am so excited. I feel like Monday is never going to get here!!!!!!

Hey all! I have not posted in awhile. Raynie- you were so right. Got a fill then could not eat anything and had to go back and taken out. Yes, I should have listened!!!!! You were right. I go Monday the 22nd for my ultrasound. I am so excited!!!I will be 20 weeks next week. half way there! How is everyone?

akapsi- My doctor did not stress that point to me. Could be when he met me I had my 18 month old daughter and told him that is why I was having the surgery to lose weight to have a baby again, safely!When I came up pregnant 6 months after surgery they have been nothing but supportive. I love Dr. Morton!!! My friend went to the same doctor a year ealier and he did stress to wait 12 months

Hey everyone! Wanted to give an update. I go back to the ob/gyn tomorrow for my check up. Scared to death because according to my scales I have gained 21 pounds so far! I have an appt tuesday to get a fill because they completely unfilled when I was 3 weeks pregnant b/c I was soooooo sick but this weekend hardly nothing went down but yet I was hungry every 2 hours!!!My husband does not want me to get a fill b/c he says I can lose the weight after the baby is here but I don't want to gain so much I put my baby at risk. I weigh 253 now. With my first daughter I weighed 310 the day I had her 5 weeks ealry with high blood pressure. This time my bp has been normal. Any advice??????

I had my third pre-natal appt. Everything was great! My ob even said I could get a fill now that my sickness is gone! YEY! I am so excited but here is the downer... My lap band doctor can't get me in for a month!! Can you beleive that?? They are always booked up. Ilove my doctor but really wish they would work on that. I go back on Oct 9th for pre-natal and get a fill on Oct 10th. Oh well, guess it is only one month!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, i had to have an emergency c-section the first time (She was 5 weeks early) but this time not sure if I will have a vaginal or c-sention guess it wil lbe a game time decision. If I can have a vaginal I will but if the c-section has to be done that is fine with me!

I am 12 weeks today. WIth my first pregnancy I gained 60 lbs. I really am going to try not to do that this time around. Today I have had a protein shake for breakfast, salad with cottage cheese and 2 boiled eggs for lunch and for dinner I really want pizza! Is that bad! it has been a crazy day. i stress eat bad. I also want a dessert too!!!!!!! Lord help me!

hey Raynie i am praying for you! Take it easy and may God bless you! I have lost 3 pounds as of this morning. I am really trying to watch what I eat. Fruit, salad and protein!!! When I was sick during my first trimester I was eating whatever I could get down! Now that I am not sick I am trying to be good!!! :clap2:

Wanted to check in with everyone and see how they are doing. I am great and so is the baby. I have gained 13 pound and trying to hold tight at that. Fianlly past the sickness, guess you can say I am in the honeymoon phase of the pregnancy!!!! Hope to hear from everyone soon!!!!!!

Yey! i am so glad to find this. I was banded in Dec 2006. i am almost 9 weeks. Due in March 12 2008. I am super excited. I have been really sick and vomitting with this pregnancy so they had to completly unfill. It will get better. I am unable to take prenatal vitamins too so i take flintstones and extra folic acid. I have already gained 14 pounds so I am a little concerend about that but found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks because I was soooo sick. We all need to keep in touch!

Glad to hear you back on Krystal! I think and pray for you all the time. Please keep posting so we can keep supporting you!!

Thanks to everyone that responded. I have joined weight watchers so I do keep a journal and exercise everyday. I even am wearing a pedometer. Next week I go to the beach and look forward to exercising there, also. Thanks for the encouraging words. Denis822... I bet I will be like you and start moving downward again soon! Thanks again!!!!

Ok I need my fellow bansters help!!!!!!!!! I have not lost a single pound this month. I get all my protein in, drink my water and try to exercise. What else can I do? I am very stressed about it. Today I dusted off my pedometer and put it on, yesterday I pushed mowed the yard and planted more than a dozen flowers!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Everyone! I see all is well. Is this where we are stay posting? I am doing good. Ready to beef up my exercising. This morning I worked outside for 2 hours, digging flowers, pulling weeds, all that fun stuff. It wore me out! This month I was to start exercising more. Thinking of joining the YMCA since I won't have mother's day out after May.

That is ok, that people disagree with your food choice. You have to do what it right for you. My doctor has told me he would rather me eat food I enjoy in small quanties. This is what I do. I am going to try your receipe b/c with my restriction I woudl not be able to eat alot. Pre-banded my husband and I could finish off teh entire pan. You keep up the great work Krystal!!

How did you potato lasgna turn out. Was reading your post from the weekend. Please don't get discouraged. You are inspiring so many people, including myself. Please know howmuch you are helping all of us! Keep up the fabulous work adn know I am praying for your success!!!
