  1. lol funny, but im sorry that happend to you  no no one ever asked me that, course I was an all round fattie (ie: portioned top to bottom) so I dont think anyone ever questioned. I did however have a nice relative of mine (sweetest 80 yr old woman) ask a women when she was due and she was just fat XD ah.. felt so bad for her People honestly just make mistakes. I actually run a care home for developmentally disabled adults, i have one girl who lives with me but she has that odd shaped body and darned if she gets asked 2-3 times a week when she is out with me how many weeks preggo she is. :)Most the time its another parent or a sweet old lady. you gotta love it sometimes :smile2: Funny enough when I was pregnant with my 41 week lil one I was never asked once if I was preggos, Ive been 170-180 for about 9 yrs now. She was hiding in my bum I think
  2. Thank you so much for your response! I'm already completely unfilled and have been since June of 2009. I know its a ton of upchucking which is why I wanted to ask, It doesn't appear to be very medical, I literally take to big of bites eat to hard of foods as well as a lot of raw foods) and don't chew enough. I am never in any pain, I feel no pain after and I only eject the food because I hate that "pressure" in my chest, drool starts to well up and I can barely talk because ive got food caught in my band and the spit has no where to go, its a bit aggravating, my mood even changes if im "blocked up" im a vegetarian and a all natural eater so the food I eat is a bit "rough" on my band I think. Its just that its been bothering me. i eat so much whole grains and brown rice it LOVES gettin caught in the band and it began to worry me. I do have the terrible habbit of not chewing enough or i tend to drink something right after and it gets caught. i do have a stomach doctor * its the guy that removed all my CCs when preggos* he even had a barium xray done on me Jan of 09 and sent it to a specialist in France. The specialist and him were happy about how the band was looking. I am/was to embarrassed to ask him in depth about the upchucking as I am pretty sure its just me eating to quick. He also didnt ask or go to far in depth with how much/how often I eject I mean it could be worth asking my doctor about but I literally wanted to know if there is any true side effects. I know what the docs gonna say... Slow down! hehe:wub: Ps- i also apologies as I don't think this is in the right forum. :/
  3. Back Information LapBand Surg: June 2002 Location: Tj. Mexico Weight: Post 330 now: 180 CCs Fluid: June 2-June 2009- 8CCS June 09-now: 0 CCs Question, I vomit maybe... 3 times a week to as much as 1-2x a day. My question is.. Whats the long term effects of dislodging food and expelling it? The Soups still hot the ice creams still cold. **I am not vomiting past the band I only expell food above the band. **I do not vomit more than once at a time, I expell and can go right back to eating. **I want to know IS it dangerous about this practice, not "why im hurling" I know why Im hurling. **The dislodging of food never has bothered me after. Yes I know (after almost 10 yrs im eating to fast) should go on liquids and no I cant remove anymore CCs as I have no Fluid in my band currently. Yet I still have restriction. My mother keeps telling me Im going to get esophigal cancer, can I from expelling food like this? is any acid coming up? Id love to know what youve heard (either from professionals or professional advice) Thanks! Dawn Bright:tongue:
