  12. I'm in!!! I missed my Labor Day goal by 9lbs, but I still lost 26lbs during the challenge. My goal for Halloween is a little less drastic but I am going to get this one. My ultimate goal (Christmas gift to me) is to be in onderland by Dec 24th! I have 37lbs to lose to get there so I will take the first 20 as my Halloween goal! SN..................... Starting Wt........Current.......Goal.......Lbs to Goal Skinnyb2012.........236...................236..............216............20......... And I will hope for more!!! Maybe I can be in onderland by Halloween, wouldn't that be SWEET!
  13. I had the most intense burning pain on that side. I would lay and cry. I used warm heating pads, they helped a lot. I was going back to work on a Monday and was so worried that I would not be able to work because the pain was so bad. I wake up on Monday and go to work and never have felt the pain there again. I think my body or God wanted to spare me the pain!!! lol. Thankfully! That was at 4 weeks, i dealt with it for a solid 2 weeks. It was horrible but it DOES get better!!! I promise! (someone said the same thing to me when I posted about this issue, "I promise it does get better!") Good luck everyone!!!
  14. I know exactly what you mean! After surgery, I was in shock about how much of a change my life was. I never realized how many food commercials were on TV until I was laying on the couch the week after surgery, thinking I want that!!!! Over and over. I will tell you that it has gotten so much easier when I started feeling better. I feel wonderful! If I don't eat right, I don't feel well either. They are related. Also I had gone 5 days without any weight loss and it was because I was not eating enough. I upped my protein to make sure I was getting at least 60grams a day and keep my calories between 600-800 a day. And I went back to losing 1 to 2lbs a day. Eat more protein or do protein drinks. I have Whey Protein from GNC with 20g protein, 2g carbs and 2g of fat. Only 3 a day and ur at the minimum. I hope this helps!!!
  15. I'm not for sure it will affect you at all.... My pre-op diet was only 5 days long, it was all Clear liquids. Protein drinks (limit to 3 a day), clear broths, Popsicles, and any liquid I could see thru. Just get back on track. The doctor will stop the surgery if there is something wrong, so you do need to shrink your liquid. I know not eating is hard, but you have to do this for yourself! You CAN do this!!!!! Good Luck!!!!
  16. Something I found helpful was HOT SHOWERS!!!!! Let the water pour down ur back. It helped a lot also made me feel normal again. I hope this helps... Good luck and it does get better!!
  17. Im three weeks out and this has been going on for about a week. Im really worried cause I go back to work on Monday and dont know if I can handle it with the pain.....
