  1. First of all, congrats on your journey and weight loss and second, yes, stress can definitely affect your band. but everyone is different. but in my case, i have always suffered from anxiety/panic attacks when under stress, and when that happens, i cannot eat anything. i have been banded almost a year now, and have done it all with only 3.7cc's, have not had a fill since last December solely due to that factor. but as i said, everyone is different and i would talk to your doc about it best of luck!
  2. hey everyone thank you for the kind words and support...feeling a little better this week. Like I said, just been very emotional. You don't realize how much time in the day you used to take up just eating, and not only because u were hungry...because u were bored, sad, lonely, upset, even happy. Now that I have all this time on my hands because I am not eating, it is driving me a little crazy...
  3. I feel the same way...I was banded about 4 wks ago...and I have the WORST time in the morning, cannot eat Breakfast to save my life, so I just try to get a shake down. Or like you said, if I am stressed, I close right up, cannot eat anything all day, but then, towards nighttime, I can eat anything! Definitely gets looser at night. I wonder why that is? I wish it was the other way around lol. Then I could eat breakfast, and then not eat before I go to bed. Oh well, still figuring this out!
  4. Hi, i was reading your response to this post, and I wanted to see if you had any advice. I was banded 18 days ago...and as you said, you go through so many emotions that you dealt with before with food, and now u dont have food anymore to deal with it. I have been feeling very down lately, any advice on how you got over those hurdles?
  5. Hi everyone :bored: I was banded on 8-25-10, had a very rough first week, landed in the er twice....it has gotten better, physically i am feeling better, but emotionally i am struggling. Been feeling kind of down lately and I don't know why  maybe because my friend, food, is no longer there to comfort me...Hope this gets better and easier soon...
