  1. Hey, Nyla In what way do you mean deal with them? Are you going to tell them you've had the surgery?
  2. Wow! 10lbs, that's really great. Well done  Nikki- The band will make you less hungry once you've had fills put in. You'll get fuller quickly and you'll eat a lot less than you used to. Put you've still got to change what you eat, or it doesn't work, lol.
  3. Hey Nikkibug, well, I live in the UK, so I'm not sure if the requirements are much different. Plus, I went private. But I'm pretty certain you'll meet the requirements to have it done :smile2: If you're feeling uncomfortable, like you said with your hips, ankles and knees hurting I'm sure it will be fine. Plus with your BMI you're in the range to have it done Andy-Penguins, how are you feeling at the moment?
  4. Would be nice to talk about everything I'm going though with people my own age, I'm 19 btw. I got banded when I was 18.
  5. Are there any support groups in Hampshire at all? I heard there's one in Southampton but I live near Aldershot and don't want to travel that far when I don't drive! :]
  6. Hi I live in Hampshire near Aldershot. I went to Blackpool to get banded, wish I went to Southampton though, would of been easier! It's been a year since I got it done. Anyone wants to talk feel free to email me/PM me or whatever.
  7. I'm 19, live in the UK, and the only person who knows I've had it done is my Mum. It would be nice to have a buddy who can understand what I'm going through, as I'm finding it a slight struggle at times!
