Been looking into this for quite some time. Took out private insurance whilst I was in the waiting period for healthcover I had meetings with the surgeon. With the support of my husband, family and (as I work in a hospital) nurses, coworkers at work. I made the decision to get a lapband. August tenth this year I had my procedure. I am feeling ok. Have lost 6kg on the optifast pre op diet . It can only get better from here. xx
