  4. I have been banded since 4/29/2011, I have lost 70lbs. This past July I gave birth to a baby boy. Prior to my pregnancy I was filled to 2. I hit my sweet spot all was well! During my pregnancy I had no issues everything was great! 3 weeks after giving birth, I woke up on a Sunday morning with a awkward gas pain on my lower right side. I was able to eat all day sunday, all of a sudden I rushed my self to the ER because my pain was shooting across my stomach and I assumed I had something going on with my appendix! That day I was gassy and hunched over in pain! Well I was discharged they said it was a uti! The next morning my band was to tight couldn't eat! Go get .50 unfilled the next day I get completely unfilled, Thursday I get an upper gi due to the fact I haven't been able to eat all week ( lost 7lbs)! They say even with me being completely unfilled my band is to to tight!! Why such a change?? Maybe I had a gall bladder attack and it made me swell... Help I am freaking out
  5. So I am 3 weeks post op and am on to solids. I have been very good with my chewing and drinking, etc. The only problem I am having is cheating and testing the waters!! Tonight we went out to dinner and I had eggsalad on toast. Had the eggsalad with one slice of toast left the other 3.... decided I would try and eat and onion ring... went down fine... maybe had 4 more through out the night.. now i decided that I needed to cheat again and eat left overs... fries. What is wrong with me.. I am the way I am b/c of the way I eat... I did this to change Why am I cheating... Kinda depressed and mad at myself!

  7. Hi.... I am doing my grocery list for the week and am trying to figure out what I am going to cook my family this week! I have neglected them these past 2 weeks due to my liquid diets. Now that I am on mushies, I am trying to find some good recipes that will make my husband and my band happy! Any suggestions??
  8. Happy Mother's day to all you lovely ladies out there! I have a question regarding my weightloss. I am 10 days post op and have started on mushies. My day consist of the following: 1 cup of oatmeal, 1 cup of Soup, and 1 cup of tuna or 1 egg. I do not snack during the day. Only drink Water and at times a glass of diet snapple. I don't understand how I can not be moving the scale?? I am not eating nearly as much as I was prior to surgery!! Maybe I am not drinking enough water? Has anyone gone through this......

  11. Va_viv, why is your appointment booked for October? Is it b/c they are busy or do they make you wait a month. I was hoping once I got my insurance approval and lost the 15 lbs required that I can get right in.
