I think you would have to start over with a pcp supervised diet that the doctor would document each month. On the Cigna site you can download the criteria for weight loss surgery. If you cannot find it you can call them and they will mail it to you. It is very specific as to what the requirement is.

One day-my understanding is that Cigna wants to see that we have the commitment needed to be successul after the surgery so they require this. Also they want you to loose weight 10% if possible because it has been proven that even 10% loss will be beneficial with less complications. Jan

How did you handle the six month physician's supervised weight loss requirement? I have had a weight issue for 30 years I doupt that another six months will do the trick? Thanks.:help:
