  1. Hi! I've recently been reffered for a gastric band. I'm 22 years and weigh 19st.. My BMI is 43 at the moment. If i do eventually get the surgery on the NHS i'm worried about the skin sagging. If I excersise regularly will it keep the skin taught? With my age I hope it will stay firm! I'm also interested in NHS information. Has anyone undergone surgery in the UK with the NHS? How long does it take from the refferal to see a surgeon? Thanks x x x :smile2::confused::smile::confused::ohmy::confused:
