  1. hi all. I jus got home today not doing too bad jus extreme pain on my neck and shoulders i don't think its gas though because i've been handling that pretty well, but am getting huge tension knots on my shoulders took tylenol doing nothing. please help with advice dh gave me a massage but still no help. also i know we are suppose to drink 6-8 glasses of Water starting today but i am having a hard time as it is drinking all of the ensure not vomitting but i feel extremely full had tea earlier but finished only bout half a glass and i jus had my ensure and only drank half of that. so i am afraid of dehydration jack i know your a doc maybe u could help
  2. telly you do look great by the way. i think i would do the same as you even without getting to your goal weight only because i'm sure you felt right at that point in time. congrats on ur success
  3. hi i'm new to the board and am having surgery on dec 2 sat. yikes--- one of my biggest fears of weight loss is the excess skin in the abdominal area and arms if not too personal have any of you ladies had the same fears it might sound petty which it is because i look forward to the weight loss but feel i will look horrid after my desired weight goal. i asked my doc and she said it depends on each person but if you have been big most of your life chances are the the skin will sort of shrink back into place???? but others it is not so??
  4. so you answered my question!!!lol It was given to me a week ago and yes i've been using it but i feel i'm still doing it wrong and worry it will affect me some how during surgery???? thats jsu my nerves i quess. but thank you very much
  5. hi i'm having surgery on dec 2 3 days away yikes--well my question was the hospital gave me this respirator looking device to practice breathing by i am having a hard time with it do you inhale and exhale into it untill you reach the desired number? does anyone know what i'm talking about? please help!!!!! sorry if i posted in the wrong thread
  6. thanks i appreciate any advice. i do have the booklet given to me by the doctor but thought it i could get better advice from those who had it done and went through it. today i think is my biggest challenge thanksgiving, family and a whole lot of good home cooked spanish food. good luck to those going through the same feeling lol
  7. hi i'm twenty six years old and getting the band put in on dec 2- very nervous, but excited to see the future results. any tips on after surgery eating. currently i'm on the 2 week liquid diet
