I have a BMI of 40, 5 years weight history, type II diabetes for the past 5 years, and have lost the L4, L5 disk in my back which has made me for the most part bed ridden (can't sit for more than 20-30 minutes and have to walk with forearm crutches). Need to have back surgery but am too fat for the anterior procedure (through the front). First request to AETNA denied because I didn't have 6 months consequtive weight documentation. Met 6 month condition and re-submitted and waiting for approval or second denial.
